MOORWAX CANDLEMAKERS

Our taper or dinner candles come in two sizes: 10inch and 8inch. In the shop we usually sell them in pairs or threes, but when ordering you can of course order in any number or combination that you wish, (we have quite a few regular customers who order once or twice a year to cover them for all their dinner parties or every day use). Special orders can be made to complement candle sticks or dining room decor, all we need is a colour sample to copy.

Our cone candles come in two sizes regular and large. The large ones weigh 3lbs. (1.5kgs) and are 12 inches (30cms.) tall.
The small ones are 5.5 inches (13cms) tall and weigh 7ozs.(200gms)

Our cylinder or pillar candles come in many different sizes. These are of course the classic cast candle and are also the most efficient burners. It is no coincidence that church candles are always cylindrical...their parallel sides mean that they burn away completely, leaving just a waxy stub at the end of their burning life.
The small cyliders are 5.5 inches (13cms) tall and weigh 7ozs (200gms).
The tall medium cylinder is 6 inches (15cms) tall and weighs 10ozs (300gms)
The short medium cylinder is 4.5 inches 11.5(cms) tall and weighs 10ozs (300gms)
The medium stubby cylinder is 3 inches tall but considerably wider than the others and weighs 10ozs (300gms)
The tall cylinder is 8.5 inches (22cms) tall and weighs 1lb 4ozs (600gms)
The large stubby cylinder is 5inches 12.5cms) tall and weighs 1lb 8ozs (700gms)

Our star shaped candles are very popular especially at Christmas. Although not a very efficient burner, they create very attractive shadows and their life can be prolonged by putting a night light in the shell thst is left a the end of their burning life.

Our 'square' candles come in two sizes: large and small. The large ones will burn for approximately 120 hours are 6 inches (15cms) tall and weigh 1lb (470gms), while the small ones burn for 25-30 hours are 3 inches (7.5cms) tall and weigh 7ozs (200gms)

Our pyramid candles are one of the most popular of our novelty shapes, they look very elegant in any setting and we can make them 'stepped' in three graduated sizes.They are 9 inches (23cms) tall and weigh 10ozs (300gms).

The sphere candles look very attractive in any setting. The small ones burn for approximately 25 hours while the large ones last about 100 hours and weigh a whole kilo!

Our Art Deco candles are the ultimate in sophistication! In our opinion they look best in 'staged threes' as shown in the photograph but of course they can be ordered singly or in multiples.
