MOORWAX CANDLEMAKERS

Moorwax Candlemakers were established in Hutton le Hole on the edge of the North York Moors in 1996. Using only the best quality waxes and wicks they aim to raise candlemaking to an art form. Moorwax's colour and textures are influenced both by nature and modern ceramic glazes. From August 2009 all candles made by Moorwax Candlemakers will be made using ethically produced, non-G.M, soy waxes.



As well as decorative candles for the home, Moorwax make a wide range of classic 'church' style candles and a very popular line in outdoor anti-midge citronella candles that really work!

Colours can be matched to suit individual's decor and interior design, or inscribed to celebrate a special occasion such as a wedding, Christening, notable birthday or anniversary
